Well GenCon has come and gone for another year and the Morrigan crew had a great time. Scott, Alison, Vern, Aaron and Jim from Morrigan made the looooong roadtrip down to Indianapolis from our Moncton offices in what was dubbed the "Omnibus" (a 26 foot RV named for our own Omni System). With only a 2 hour delay at the US border while customs officials scoured the Omnibus for contraband like the much feared Canadian Beefaroni, we made the 24 hour drive with no problems.
This was our first year exhibiting and we really didn't know what to expect. Sales were brisk and many gamers were very happy to see Talislanta at GenCon again. Our new games, High Medieval and Atlantis: The Second Age were very well received as was the newly released Talislanta Menagerie (we actually sold out of the hardcover versions by Saturday).
All in all it was great to meet all the fans out there and we had a great time introducing Talislanta and our other games to a whole new group of gamers.
