Jeremiah is set in a dark and gritty version of our own near-future after every adult on the planet dies in the most virulent pandemic ever to strike the world. More than 6 billion people are killed in what was to be known as The Big Death. With disturbing tie-ins to current events, this post-apocalyptic setting will allow players to adventure in a world like our own with one twist - the characters have been forced to grow up in an often violent and chaotic world without adult guidance and supervision after having been witness to their parents and loved ones die a horrible death, along with 6 billion others. Technology, consumer goods and even food is now hard to come by; forcing players to use their wits just to survive. Jeremiah features an all too realistic and plausible explanation for how civilisation self-destructed and offers players an opportunity to rebuild a new world.

The Jeremiah RPG is published and distributed by Mongoose Publishing, one of the most respected names in the industry. The game was designed by Morrigan Press Inc.

The Jeremiah Roleplaying Game

It's been 15 years since a strange disease wiped out all of the adults and left us kids to fend for ourselves. Now I am moving ahead, through the past.

From the award-winning pen of J. Michael Straczynski comes Jeremiah, a gritty tale of life and survival in a terrifying post-apocalyptic nightmare. Utilising the Open Gaming License, this exciting roleplaying game details the characters and rich background from the critically acclaimed television series.

Fifteen years after a mysterious disease called The Big Death wiped out everyone over the age of puberty, a loner named Jeremiah, joined by his cynical friend Kurdy and new mysterious traveller Mister Smith, makes his way among the survivors, warring rival social factions of young people who must learn to make their own way without the wisdom of those who came before them. Jeremiah works to build a new world of hope from the ashes of the old...an ordinary young man destined to become an extraordinary hero.

The Jeremiah roleplaying game includes all the rules and background information needed to play in this gritty, post-apocalyptic world. Taking advantage of the Open Gaming License from Wizards of the Coast, the rules and mechanics of the Jeremiah Roleplaying Game should be easily recognised by anyone familiar with the most popular roleplaying game in the world.

Designed to allow as much flexibility to explore Straczynski's future world as possible, players will take on the roles of tough and nasty Jocks, brilliant Brainboys or ever-restless Wanderers. Without the comforts and conveniences of civilisation, players will adventure through a dangerous world populated by feral children, vicious marauders and enigmatic factions, all vying for the few scraps that are left of the Old World. The main rulebook provides the framework for a complete game including chapters on skills, feats, equipment, combat and character creation. The game includes all new character classes tailored for the world of Jeremiah and includes a complete episode guide covering all three seasons as well as additional material on the world outside of North America.

The Jeremiah roleplaying game is a 256 page, hardcover book and will be supported by future sourcebooks covering the people and places seen in the first three seasons of the television epic.

Jeremiah is an MGM-financed television series airing on Showtime(in the U.S), adapted for television by Hugo award-winning writer/producer J. Michael Straczynski (creator of Babylon 5). This Platinum Studios comics-to-film adaptation, based on the award-winning graphic novel series by Belgian comics creator Hermann Huppen, is the first-ever European comic book to become a live-action U.S. television series.

Thunder Mountain Sourcebook

The End of the World. Characters in the very first episode of the critically acclaimed television series Jeremiah seek this enigmatic location. The New World equivalent to Shangri La, the End of the World is actually a real place. Known as Thunder Mountain, it is, in actuality, the Cheyenne Mountain Facility in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Or, at least is used to be.

Like the rest of the world, the Cheyenne Mountain facility was devastated by the Big Death over 15 years ago. Originally designed to withstand a nuclear attack, Thunder Mountain became home to NORAD and was later expanded to help in Homeland Defence during the war on terror. Thanks largely to one young boy, Thunder Mountain became a haven in a sea of chaos after the Big Death. Markus Alexander rallied the few children in and around Thunder Mountain and organised them as the rest of the world collapsed outside. Taking in stragglers over the years, Thunder Mountain only recently began to re-emerge into the world.

This sourcebook for the Jeremiah Roleplaying game covers the events that led to the founding of the current Thunder Mountain society, its re-emergence into the world, the creation of the Western Alliance and the key characters that made all this happen.

Chapter One covers the basic history of Thunder Mountain while Chapter Two details the layout of the underground facility. Chapter Three goes into greater detail on the communities and towns that rallied behind Markus to form the Western Alliance and the remaining chapters include new rules, skills, feats, and advanced character classes. Expanded rules for airborne movement and combat are included and all major onscreen personalities are fully detailed.
